Wanee 2013 REWIND: Allman Brothers 4/19

Friday Night on the Peach Stage ended with the Allman Brothers, of course!! They started the show with Hot ‘Lanta, Statesboro Blues, I walk on Glided Splinters, and Blue Sky followed by Dusk Til Dawn, Trouble No More, Leave My Blues at Home, Worried Down With The Blues, and Rain (as it continued raining). John Bell and Artemus Pyle (on the drums) joined the stage for an amazing rendition of Can’t Find My Way Home. Next the Allman Brothers played Revival and Rocking Horse. Jimmy Herring played In Memory of Elizabeth Reed with them, and then for the encore Luther & Cody Dickinson and Artemus Pyle (on the tambourine) joined them for One Way Out, a beautiful way to finish the night!

Friday night at Wanee may have ended a bit cold and a bit rainy, but Widespread Panic and the Allman Brothers warmed me from the inside out with their beautiful music! It was an epic night at Suwanee, and certainly one to be remembered!
