Almost every time I go to a festival, I have the “oops I forgot the—“ moment! Here’s a complete list of everything you may need at a festival to help you avoid those moments!

Camping Gear

    (with extra batteries)

    • It helps to bring an extra or two as they seem to go missing pretty easily…

Costume Fun

No festival is complete without a wide array of costume essentials! Here are just some fantastic ideas to make yourself a highlight of the festival:

  • Wigs
    • Snag a fun wig to spruce yourself up fro the night! Plus, you don’t have to worry about how much of a mess your hair gets throughout the festival!
  • Feather hair extensions and earrings
  • Banana suit- a classic! If you can get a bunch friends to dress as bananas and have a gorilla as well its even better!

Cooking Gear

There are always amazing vendors at festivals, but having food around the camp is a great money saver!


Food

As far as a food list goes, it really depends on what you like to eat! Here is an example list of what I typically bring to a festival:

  • Burgers
  • Hot dogs/brats
  • Burger buns
  • Hot dog/brat buns

  • Peanut butter
  • Jelly
  • Cheese (string & slices)
  • Deli meats
  • Pancake mix (normally one that just needs water is easiest)

  • Ketchup
  • Mustard
  • Spices (salt, pepper, etc)

Drinks

Stay hydrated!

  • WATER!

Rain Gear

Always be prepared for rain even if it’s not in the forecast. Trust me, I know from experience!
